LODGEPOLE PINE
Pinus contorta or Pinus latifolia s. Watson
Lodgepole Pine, a western species with moderately thick sapwood, is also available for distribution-length poles, treated with CCA or pentachlorophenol. It provides a widely used, durable, climbable product.
