FACILITIES

Guelph Utility Pole's capacity to dry, treat and fix wood means quick turnaround with no sacrifice of quality.

Aerial The treating plant sits on a 22-acre (9-hectare) site with extensive room for pole storage and air drying.

Kiln Four energy-efficient kilns provide 20,000 cubic feet (565 cubic metres) of controlled drying capacity. The kilns permit the sterilization and drying of poles to required moisture content levels before and after treatment, giving year-round consistency to treated products despite the extremes of Canadian weather.
